Smith is also a huge proponent of resource equity in education and strives to achieve this through her position at SocialWorks. By producing branding strategies, orchestrating favorable content surrounding SocialWorks’ core initiatives, managing press relations, and maintaining the overall structure and positive image of the organization, Smith supports the non-profit in its mission to empower the youth of Chicago.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eOutside of her work responsibilities, Smith enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, reading, scrapbooking, and traveling the world. These BWAE kits included PPE, Luster Hair care products, self-care items such as shea butter, candles and an affirmation card, as well as a Target gift card + so much more…all from black-owned businesses!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThe shirts sold out in a day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThey re-launched the shirts at a later date but this time a portion of the proceeds went to Breonna Taylor’s family and organizations that focus on providing direct support services for Black girls and Black women. With each release the growth increases.
