The Chicago Bulls won their third consecutive and sixth overall title in June of 1998. They entered the playoffs tied with the Jazz with the best record in the league, 62-20. As they should, the two teams with the best records in the league met in the finals. This was the second consecutive year that the Jazz and Bulls faced off in the championship. Just as they had done the previous season, the Bulls defeated the Jazz in six games to cap off a run as one of the most dominant teams in NBA history
